OCC and Covid-19 Lockdown.

It’s now 9 weeks since we transitioned to remote working. We introduced more flexible hours to help our employees better plan their day around childcare and other responsibilities. Our teams are busy with ongoing and new projects and we recently expanded the workforce, adding a UX designer and project manager. Company inductions under lockdown are a little bit different!

We’re well-adapted now to our virtual offices, using Teams chat, voice, video calls and meetings. Our products User Group meetings are being held online for the first time and we’re gearing up for online presentations on our transport projects in late June and early July. It’s not quite the same as being present in person but we still feel well connected with daily stand-ups and frequent social events. We look forward to working less remotely but in the meantime, as for everyone, staying safe is paramount.
