We are looking for a full-time Marketing and Design Executive to join our team.

Oxford Computer Consultants create original, robust, and flexible software for clients across the public and private sectors. Our Local Government products help local authorities manage contracts, commissioning, finance, and quality monitoring activities. Our Innovation Delivery team develop custom software for clients across the health, engineering, and science sectors.

Working for the Marketing and Communications Manager and collaborating with the other Marketing and Design Executive, you will be designing engaging marketing assets to reflect our brand and business. This will include digital brochures, graphics and infographics, as well as content for our social media channels.

You will provide department heads with the marketing assets and resources they require. The successful candidate must therefore be able to emulate OCC’s tone and style and follow our brand guidelines. Primarily the focus of the role will be on digital assets and materials, although there will also be ad-hoc requests for printed materials.

You will also carry out general marketing tasks such as organising events, sending mailers, editing webinar videos and enacting campaign plans.


Design Work

  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms
  • Collaborate, design and produce brochures, flyers, sales guides, case studies, web pages, exhibition displays, infographics, presentations and any other marketing collateral required
  • Conceptualise ideas for marketing our products and software offering, using data visualisation to improve and enhance our marketing materials
  • Source images and ensure copyright regulations are adhered to
  • Create and edit product and webinar videos

Marketing Tasks

  • Complete tasks and tickets as assigned by the Marketing and Communications Manager
  • Maintain stock lists of sales and marketing materials and manage the storage of digital assets
  • Collate product feedback and testimonials by interviewing customers
  • Support the production of OCC thought leadership articles and case studies
  • Plan and manage campaign schedules
  • Maintain client contact lists and subscription preferences
  • Execute social media campaigns from start to finish, including planning, strategy, coordination, content creation, execution, post-event reporting and analysis
  • Work with the sales teams to plan out campaigns for new product launches
  • Propose marketing initiatives
  • Contribute to quarterly marketing metrics reports


The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience with graphics and video packages, e.g. Adobe creative suite
  • Good working knowledge of InDesign and Canva
  • A relevant marketing qualification or experience in a B2B marketing role.
  • Experience in marketing products and services across a wide range of social media platforms.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
  • The confidence to discuss campaigns at all levels throughout the business
  • Demonstrable experience with social media scheduling tools
  • Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills with an eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
  • An interest in software, innovation, technology or science
