We are looking for a full-time Digital Content Marketing Executive to join our team.

Oxford Computer Consultants create original, robust, and flexible software for clients across the public and private sectors. Our Local Government products help local authorities manage contracts, commissioning, finance, and quality monitoring activities. Our Innovation Delivery team develop custom software for clients across the health, engineering, and science sectors.

Working for the Marketing and Communications Manager alongside two Marketing and Design Executives, the Digital Content Marketing Executive will be responsible for creating written content to promote our products and services. For this, you will need to develop an excellent understanding of our range of products and services and work with key department heads to ensure they have the deliverables they require.

You will be expected to produce digital content that engages existing clients to support the sale of new modules and services and create marketing material to win new business. You will also carry out general marketing tasks such as organising events, sending mailers, editing webinar videos and enacting campaign plans.

Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Develop a strong understanding of our products and services
  • Deliver content that drives engagement, generates leads and facilitates the growth of OCC
  • Create relevant and engaging content for multiple channels, including social media, newsletters, thought leadership pieces, case studies, videos and the website
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create a social media calendar and develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Execute social media campaigns from start to finish, including planning, strategy, coordination, content creation, execution, post-event reporting and analysis
  • Understand the fundamentals of SEO and implement SEO principles where required
  • Propose new marketing initiatives

Marketing tasks

  • Complete tasks and tickets as assigned by the Marketing and Communications Manager
  • Maintain stock lists of sales and marketing materials and manage the storage of content
  • Collate product feedback and testimonials by interviewing customers
  • Plan and manage campaign schedules
  • Maintain client contact lists and subscription preferences
  • Work with the sales teams to plan out campaigns for new product launches
  • Contribute to quarterly marketing metrics reports

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience with CMS (e.g. WordPress etc.)
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • A relevant marketing qualification or experience in a B2B marketing role.
  • Experience in marketing products and services across a wide range of social media platforms.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
  • The confidence to discuss campaigns at all levels throughout the business
  • Demonstrable experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools
  • Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills with an eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision

  • An interest in software, innovation, technology or science
