We are looking for an enthusiastic bright graduate who is looking to expand their sales and customer relationship experience. We have a new Sales Support role, which is initially administrative but will increase in responsibility and scope as experience of our products is developed and eventually become part of our customer facing sales and account management team.
The role involves the following:

We are looking for an enthusiastic bright graduate who is looking to expand their sales and customer relationship experience. We have a new Sales Support role, which is initially administrative but will increase in responsibility and scope as experience of our products is developed and eventually become part of our customer facing sales and account management team.

The role involves the following:

Managing sales prospects:

  • Issuing project and service pack quotes
  • Following up prospects and arranging visits by sales/account management staff
  • Setting up and maintaining demo systems
  • Setting up orders in our order processing system

Bid management:

  • Learning our products to assist with sales responses and demonstrations
  • Collating and writing new responses including screen shots
  • Maintaining model answers and standard information questions
  • Reviewing final response ready for submitting

Account management:

  • Processing service pack deductions
  • Assist with customer issue escalation and account reviews

Support: 

  • Assisting support team with reporting, support information, customer feedback, etc.
  • Documenting processes
  • Cover of email and phone calls during busy periods

Marketing:

  • Representing OCC at conferences and marketing events
  • Monitoring and responding to posts on social media
  • Participating in marketing campaigns for new products

Successful applicants will be educated to degree level.
Any of the following would be advantageous to your application:

  • Experience working in the English social care system or within local government finance
  • Sales or marketing experience
  • Experience with enterprise software database products

As your responsibility increases, you will be required to travel to client sites. This may include the occasional overnight stay.
