OCC developed a system to assess and train staff in a variety of tasks for Cognisco, performance assessment and training provider based at Cranfield Innovation Centre. Engineers and psychologists from Cognisco asked OCC to develop a suite of online assessment tools for employers to assess staff training needs.
OCC develop an e-Learning system
Employees answer questions on screen and the e-Learning system identifies gaps in their knowledge. The system then analyses the "missing links" and provides a personalized e-Learning programme to bring them up to the required standard. Trainees receive immediate feedback and managers use the results to monitor and improve staff performance.
OCC's advanced technology analyzes the results
The system required complex scientific formulae to analyze and score the assessments. The tests and e-learning features were designed in collaboration with the company's psychologists to ensure that they are easy to understand and manage. OCC developed the advanced technology to score, measure and store the result.
