We have developed data analysis software which imports numerical drilling data, stores metadata in a database and displays data as strip-plots. Our modeling software constructs models for financial planning that are difficult and time consuming to produce on a spreadsheet.
- Circuit Thermal Monitor
- Since 2000 OCC have been supplying software models to National Grid which calculate the capacity of critical components in the network. The Circuit Thermal Monitor project takes those models and moves them into the National Control Centre where they constantly monitor every circuit, calculating remaining capacity and raising alarms if components approach safe limits.
- Course Management System
- We devised a system for the College of Petroleum Studies that could handle information in planning professional courses at venues in different countries.
- National Grid Thermal Stress and Energy Monitoring
- OCC has developed software system for monitoring load and calculating thermal stress on large power transformers with an automatic cut-out device activated when stress reaches a critical level.
- Oil Industry Multiwell Acquisition and Display
- OCC software developed for presenting and interpreting data from oil well flow measurements for performing trend analysis.
- Solar and Alternative Energy Modelling
- OCC has developed a tool which analyses the resource availability of, and costs associated with, particular solar technologies at regional level.
