Outsourcing eCommerce Portal for Teleworking
- Reduces recruitment costs and risk with rapid access to certified freelance staff
- Reduces the risk of non-compliance and debts by using an e-commerce platform which guarantees payments on results
OCC built an e-commerce European portal for urban and rural SMEs to outsource work to "eWorkers" within a quality controlled system. The portal is based on a web server for eWorkers to access from any location, the place of work selected by the employee, defining anew "employment" and "workplace".
How the web site works
The eOperaDe e-commerce portal handles requests for services by registered companies and freelance professionals, redirecting them to the appropriate individual or SME. A quality control system assesses the results of work performed by eWorkers, both quantitively and qualitatively.
Selected employees manage the portal and are responsible for appropriate contract assignments and quality control. A combination of existing and new technologies are used productively to create this eOperaDe teleworking marketplace.
Benefits of teleworking
Societal benefits are reduced pollution, less crowded city infrastructures and transport networks. Companies benefit by eliminating overheads associated with employing full-time staff, resources and equipment (including office space). Employees benefit from improved quality of life with freedom from the geographical and time constraints of office-based workplaces.
