OCC consultants worked closely with an MoD team to develop a new web-fronted solution for controlling the spares inventory for the Army Supply Chain Operations Centre (SCOC)
Costs reduced by efficiency gains
Our solution provided access to accurate, "clean" data and rejected searches were greatly reduced. Efficiency gains resulted and this in turn, reduced costs to the Army Supply Chain.
The application is in global use by all MoD Units that order from the Army spares inventory, enabling soldiers to search some half a million line items instantaneously.
The Army team wrote to OCC: "We were particularly impressed by the flexibility of the product and responsiveness of the OCC team during its development."
