OCC consultants worked closely with an MoD team to develop a new web-fronted solution for controlling the spares inventory for the Army Supply Chain Operations Centre (SCOC). This resulted in a gain in efficiency, reducing costs for the MoD.
OCC created an interactive, multimedia archive for accessing information documentation relating to the Holocaust. We participated with this European Programme with several partners.
OCC designed a database for Plus Design to assist with their inventory management and ordering. This database allowed the user to spot great saving opportunities for bulk buying of supplies and pass the cost saving on to customers. The product was a sucess and is estimated to be saving Plus Design an average of 20% on all stock purchases.
OCC took part in a rigorous selection process to become The Thinking Partnership’s technical partner. This leadership consultancy were looking for a professional, reliable organisation with a portfolio of technical skills to host, maintain and develop three web-based applications which they successfully developed, and a new corporate website as part of a major rebrand.
In an EU-funded research project OCC built an e-commerce European portal for urban and rural SMEs to outsource work to "eWorkers" within a quality controlled system. The portal is based on a web server for eWorkers to access from any location, the place of work selected by the employee, defining anew "employment" and "workplace". Companies benefit by eliminating overheads associated with employing full-time staff, resources and equipment (including office space).
