A leading supplier of engineering products and services for motorsports is developing a data recorder for racing cars.  Oxford Computer Consultants was asked to develop a PC-based application which is required to view and manipulate large sets of numerical data from an associated data recorder device.

As OCC has considerable experience in developing engineering data visualization tools we were asked to develop the software for the data viewer.  Our experience includes:

• developing a Maths Engine for the engineering sector to analyse financial risk related to drilling for oil
• engineering data visualization tools, such as an Air Quality Monitoring System and Thermal Stress Monitoring tools.

Our consultants had the challenging task of developing the software in parallel with the development of the hardware.  This worked well due to our Flexible development approach with frequent prototypes, each cycle providing feedback for the hardware development and also receiving new objectives based on the progress of the hardware.
