OCC developed the tax management software for a specialist company in tax-related commercial software packages, including computerised versions of tax forms. When they decided to add to their range of tax software, they asked OCC to produce a new program for Corporation Tax Returns.

The new software is an improvement on that used for previous forms, being more reliable and user-friendly. Written in Delphi and compatible with MS Windows, the software makes completion of the form considerably simpler and faster. It features common interface mechanisms to provide an environment familiar to the user, who is comprehensively assisted by a wealth of wizards, validity checks and other tools that aid complete and correct completion of the form. These include a context-sensitive on-line version of 'Notes on filling in your Corporation Tax Return'.>

The software enables users to save and retrieve the Tax Return form to disk at any stage of its completion. This is particularly useful when there is more than one copy of the form to complete. Accountants can deal with several clients' returns forms simultaneously. Printing of the whole form and facsimiles of individual pages are other features simplified by OCC's software. The printouts have been approved by the Inland Revenue, and show the user's calculations which must be submitted with the form.

The OCC software is flexible and can be adapted to include new features and produce new versions in the future.
