Banking Workflow System

OCC's team was involved in the design and implementation of a large workflow system for a major banking client, an application that has considerable significance for all business sectors. The principal benefit of the workflow system is that it supports managerial staff by ensuring that the right work is given to the right people at the right time.

The system has been designed to allow users to write workflow applications specifically tailored to their business needs. Many organisations operating in a wide cross-section of sectors are faced with at least one of the following challenges:

  • an increasing use of networks and client/server technology within the office
  • the need to ensure the smooth flow of work through the organisation
  • an infrastructure that exists to automate much of the management effort
