Development of the System

The College of Petroleum and Energy Studies (CPS) runs courses for industry professionals at venues as far apart as the UK and Russia.

They asked OCC to devise a database that could handle the detailed information involved in planning such events. After 18 months documenting and supporting the College’s main administration and bookings system, OCC redesigned and implemented an entirely new database.

How the System works

Information can be searched, viewed and reported on by reference to course, date, duration, venue, country, lecturer, supervisor, marketing code, and other required fields.

As a result, the day-to-day operation of this highly complex, schedule-based business can be run with minimum effort from a central location, thereby minimising the administrative tasks to be performed at satellite venues.
